This is a temporary workaround until notifications work better on Teams mobile. Changed the reminder formatting in group chats and channels so that users get the reminder text in the notification on their smartphone. Added support for formatting reminders set in the Reminders tab ( bold, italic, lists and links) Please press "Save settings" at the bottom of the page after changing any settings. Please remember to press the save button at the bottom of the page. Added a setting to set the default date to today in the scheduling interface. Added a workaround to trigger the correct notification on iOS for these reminders. Added workarounds (Thanks for the bug reports, Tracey and Sandy!) - Re-enabled cards with buttons for reminders in group chats and channels. Teams on Android and iOS has an issue when setting reminders on messages in group chats. This avoids spamming the channel with tweaks to your reminder. When you set a new channel reminder and edit it within 15 minutes, the original channel announcement gets now updated. A log is kept in the Reminders tab, so you can look up the date and time when a reminder was marked as complete as well as the user who completed it. For recurring reminders, users can mark each occurrence as completed. Reminders on messages can now be edited (Yes, finally! Thanks to everybody who got in touch about this.) - One-off group chat and channel reminders can now be completed. Please note that this currently only works for the beta channel version ("targeted release" in release preferences of Microsoft 365 admin center) of Outlook/Office for Windows and web. Released version 1.2.4 - You can now add Remind to Outlook or Office so that you don't have to switch to Teams to set a reminder. ![]() If you then delete the reminder before it has occurred, the announcement will now be removed as well. There currently seems to be a navigation issue in Teams after the new channel experience has been introduced. Added a workaround for pressing "View" on reminders set on conversation replies in channels. Setting a reminder on a message now also works in "New Teams" (Thanks for the feedback, Ian!) Added a configuration option per channel so that team owners can now allow channel members to set reminders without announcing them ("silent reminders"). Added a search option to the Reminders tab.
